Maybe we should let the world set on fire?
It's hard to sometimes make a masterpiece out of dust till the fire starts and then you get inspired. It's easy to write, notice and speak about all the things going wrong we forget that Maybe happiness is around the corner. Not that we would ever check. Maybe letting the world set on fire isn't such a bad thing because maybe this is the way it was always supposed to be.
The true essence of Love I've been told is selflessness and I guess that suggests that we'll never be happy because we're all selfish. That's the truth we won't always know how to show love and kindness and all our bad deeds will start to overflow. Blame it on the fact that we're sinners and it's hard to tell the temptations no. I wonder if our aim is to self-sabotage and trick ourselves into thinking we can't be and do better.
My theory is because we love the world so much or the things of the world so much we're willing to sacrifice our very selves to go down with it. What causes man to gain the whole world and lose his soul? That's the question we need to answer. When you gain the world what's next? What or who will you be left to be?
The world doesn't need saving just love.
I believe the world being set on fire was always the plan. Sadly someone won't wake up and miss the sirens and it will be because they were naive that this world would stand forever. I guess some things have great falls and the earth will surely have a great fall. Some will choose to hold on to it and they will be the most foolish. While others will choose the wrong side and burn. And some will be confused and be lost and some will be relieved because they gained a forever home.
Which side of the war are you on?
Believe it or not, today or tomorrow can be your last. Your days on earth aren't within your control. So then whose control do you think it's in? If not yours then whose...science?

Not everything is fair in love and war. It's not fair when one side only wants peace and the other craves control and destruction.
Let's let the world set on fire. Because it's out of our control. We can only choose to love by being selfless. And still, then our love wouldn't be enough to save the world.

Beautiful said. It is one thing to comment but it's the next to carry out such actions. Some ppl would love the world to just burn, that is..me. but honestly I want the world to realize their faults and that switching sides, going for the other team, cruelty, the seven deadly things/sins and giving up is not the design of God. You can make it into anything u want it to be but it won't change the idea of how God created it. Can one truly line up, waiting for God to speak on one works on Earth and feel confident that their homo, serial killer or bad mind and God will accept it?
ReplyDeleteI don't hate an of these ppl, in fact I love them but not like how God loves them, way much more than genuine Christians can. Just pray for them, pray for he government. Pray for our lives in a caged world/society. Thank you for sharing Aja.
